"Founded in 1816 by a farmer, the Lagavulin distillery is one of three Kildalton distilleries in the south of the Isle of Islay, along with its neighbors Ardbeg and Laphroaig. Lagavulin permanently offers three versions of its single malt, including the 16-year-old.
