"Aux Plantes is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru vinified by the talented Olivier Cazenave and his friend Marc Vincent (Domaine de La Paleine, Saumur).
  
This small plot of approximately 1 ha rented by Olivier is located in the middle of Grands Crus Classés.
  
Vinification and aging : For Merlots, the harvest is sorted, destemmed and crushed; daily punching down and maceration for 3 weeks due to powerful tannins.
  
Vinification half in demi-muids (500 liter barrel) with open bottom 100% in demi-muids used for vinification.
  
This Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is characterized by its gourmand and expressive side.
  
The palate is both rich and round, quite intense, fruity (raspberry, cherry), spicy with fine woody notes.
