"On the island of Okinawa, we find Japan's oldest distillery: Helios! Originally, in 1961, this distillery began producing rum to meet the demand of the American troops stationed on the island. More than half a century later, we discover one of its latest creations: Kiyomi rum, a term meaning "pure beauty" in Japanese.
  
It is a molasses rum made in a copper still.
  
Nose: Very exotic characteristics with notes of pineapple and a hint of smoke.
  
Palate: Round, powerful with a touch of sweetness and a slightly peppery finish."
