- "Pastis (from the Provençal Occitan pastisson: pâté or mixture) is the name given to alcoholic drinks flavored with anise and licorice. Pastis in Occitan also means boredom, an unpleasant or confusing situation: what a pastis!
- In the heart of Drôme, Pierre and Margaux created a small family business with the aim of manufacturing and marketing a quality pastis: Le Pierrot.
- The aromatic plants are slipped into a “tea ball” and infused for a few days in Vercors spring water mixed with alcohol; this comes from wheat (which is the most neutral alcohol).
- For more than a week every day, we add an ingredient, mix, according to its very precise recipe.
- On the nose : It is an explosion of smells, sweet, warm, pleasant (the pine forest, the scrubland... and if you close your eyes the song of the cicadas takes over).
- In the mouth : anise then thyme, rosemary and then liquorice, leaving you thirsty... you almost forget the alcohol.
- It does not break the palate, the meal that follows will be all the more appreciated after an aperitif washed down with a Pierrot."
