- "Founded in 1859 by Mr. Louis Jadot, Maison Louis Jadot has always been located in the heart of Beaune, in the heart of the vineyards. Housed in a 19th-century mansion, it boasts superb cellars connected to the nearby Couvent des Jacobins.
- Run by three generations of Jadots, then for 30 years by Mr. André Gagey, the Maison is now in the hands of his son Pierre-Henry, assisted by Mr. Jacques Lardière, the Maison's oenologist for over 40 years, before passing the torch to Mr. Frédéric Barnier.
- The "Champs Fulliot" climate is one of the most delicate in Monthélie. Little known, this commune and its vineyards border the village of Meursault.
- This wine reveals a delicate and complex aromatic bouquet, with floral notes (violet, peony, rose), lovely red and black fruits (raspberry, cherry, blackcurrant), but also hints of spice (cinnamon, pepper) and leather.
- On the palate, it charms with its freshness and finesse, with supple tannins and a good balance between alcohol and acidity.
- Its aromatic persistence suggests good aging potential for this very elegant wine."
