"Château Minuty is located in Gassin, on the Saint-Tropez peninsula in the Var, spanning 70 hectares. Owned by the Matton-Farnet family for over 80 years and shaped across four generations, the estate reflects both history and tradition.
 
 
Built during the reign of Napoleon III, Château Minuty was purchased in 1936 by Gabriel Farnet, who set out to restore its former glory.
 
 
In 1955, the estate was awarded Cru Classé status, becoming one of the 23 “Cru Classé” properties in the Côtes de Provence appellation.
 
 
Monique and Étienne Matton significantly contributed to establishing Château Minuty’s reputation on the finest tables along the French Riviera. Today, brothers Jean-Étienne and François Matton continue the family legacy while bringing a modern spirit to the estate.
 
 
To meet the growing global demand for Côtes de Provence rosés, the Matton family founded Minuty S.A. in 1995, marketing both estate wines and branded wines such as the M, Bailly, and Prestige cuvées.
