  • "Located in Les Arcs-sur-Argens, near Draguignan, Château Sainte Roseline is a very old abbey (12th century). The estate covers 108 hectares where 11 different grape varieties are cultivated to make Cru Classé rosé, red, and white wines. In 1994, Bernard Teillaud took over the estate, making it one of the flagship wineries of Provence.
  • Roseline's story has left its mark on the people of the region around Les Arcs. In the 13th century, when famine was hitting the countryside hard, Roseline, daughter of the Marquis de Villeneuve, Lord of Les Arcs, began secretly emptying the family reserves to help starving peasants. One day, her suspicious father asked her to show her what she was hiding under her apron, from which, miraculously, an armful of roses emerged. It may be from this event that her religious vocation dates back to. Prioress Superior of At the Abbey of La Celle-Roubaud, she died in 1329. Exhumed five years after her death, her body was found intact, before being finally embalmed in 1894 and placed in a crystal shrine in the chapel, which has now become a renowned place of worship.
  • Produced from a strict selection of the best plots, La Chapelle de Sainte Roseline is an exceptional cuvée produced in very limited quantities. Presented in an exceptional bottle named "la cuvée des sacres," the resulting wines are of a finesse and complexity that rival the finest French wines.
  • Harvest is carried out using a conveyor belt, thus preventing berry deterioration. Destemming and double sorting of the berries. Fermentation is carried out grape variety by variety in wooden vats, with cold pre-fermentation maceration for 5 days.
  • Aging in barrels, grape variety by variety, followed by harmonious blending. An intense nose blending red fruits, violet, and licorice.
  • Its liveliness and finesse allow for long aging potential. This fine, distinguished and elegant red wine from Provence rivals the greatest French appellations.
