"In 1970, Jacques Demonchaux acquired this beautiful estate and dedicated himself to restoring its splendor and economic stability. He was joined by his wife, Alice Demonchaux, in charge of marketing, and their son, Aurélien, in charge of production. Alice developed the sales activity throughout France and the main importing countries. Aurélien took charge of the vineyard and winemaking, ensuring the quality of the wines.
  
To ensure continuity, the family company EARL CHÂTEAU PIERRAIL was created and has been in operation since 1996. The 250-hectare estate currently comprises 90 hectares of vines on the best slopes.
