- "Château du Rouët is located in the renowned Fréjus terroir in the Var region of Provence.
- The estate was once a Templar farm and later a former coaching inn. A few years before the French Revolution, a marquis fell in love with the property, regularly hunted there, and decided to plant vines and olive trees.
- In 1840, the estate was acquired by the family who still owns it today. The property includes over 1,000 hectares of forest, providing additional income through the sale of maritime pine and cork.
- After 1945, the estate began selling its wines and significantly expanded production during the 1960s.
- In 1990, Martin Savatier modernised the vineyard and contributed to the creation of the Fréjus appellation, helping Château du Rouët build its reputation both in France and internationally.
- Fresh aromas of red berries on the nose.
- Light, supple and refreshing on the palate."
