  • "Domaine Tempier is located in Provence, within the Bandol appellation. The estate was founded in 1830, but it gained widespread recognition under Léonie Tempier in 1885, when she won a Gold Medal for her red wine made from Mourvèdre.
  • In 1941, Bandol became an Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC), which requires reds to be made with at least 50% Mourvèdre and aged a minimum of 18 months in barrels. Today, Domaine Tempier practices sustainable viticultureacross three communes and produces four wines.
  • La Tourtine combines power and elegance. This single-vineyard cuvée comes from a 5.5-hectare exceptional terroiron a hillside near Le Castellet, with vines exposed to both sun and wind.
  • Winemaking : Grapes are carefully sorted in the vineyard and at the cellar, destemmed, lightly crushed, and fermented for 3 to 4 weeks using native yeasts.
  • Aging : Aged for a minimum of 18 months in large oak casks before bottling.
  • Full-bodied with notable minerality, this is a structured, elegant red with excellent aging potential."
