- "At the exit of Draguignan (Var), towards the Verdon gorges, this 68 ha estate covers clay-limestone hillsides. The property contains remains from the Gallo-Roman and medieval periods, notably the Saint-Michel chapel ( 12th century.) and the ruins of a fortified castle overlooking the vineyard.
- The legend speaks of a water dragon which flooded the town of Draguignan with its anger from the top of Saint Michel hill. Overwhelmed by Saint Hermentaire, patron saint of the city, today wine flows freely in a preserved green setting with a rich heritage.
- This distant legend has since been perpetuated over the centuries and still remains alive for the inhabitants of Draguignan, the name of the estate is great proof of this.
- Since its acquisition in 2015, owner Mir NEZAM has restructured and modernized the estate while protecting the natural side and the historical anchoring in the local heritage.
- The Domaine is one of the few in Provence specializing in reds.
- Vinification is done in the purest tradition of Provence wines, with a transition to organic farming since the beginning of 2020.
- For this red it is traditional vinification in thermo-regulated vats.
- Aging for 12 to 18 months in oak barrels.
- Plate filtration before bottling.
- Nose with notes of woody spices, vanilla and coffee.
- Mouth is rich, well structured with melted tannins.
- Finale is warm and elegant."
