"Under the light of Provence, the Domaine des Planes, Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, is perched on the hills of the Maures, with a splendid view of the Gulf of Fréjus-Saint Raphaël in Roquebrune-sur-Argens precisely.
  
The wines come from Certified Organic farming since 2009 on gneiss and mica schist soils.
  
The natural balance of the vineyard, the safeguarding and respect of nature combine to harmonize the life of this blessed landscape; here Bacchus (Roman God of drunkenness, excesses and nature) found his paradise!
  
 Domaine des Planes was purchased in 1980 by Ilse Rieder-Eberbach and Christophe Rieder, graduates of the Geisenheim graduate school of viticulture and oenology in Germany.
  
 The previous owner, Mr. Paul A Müller, had already cultivated the Estate ecologically and was determined to continue in this spirit.
  
 Since 2005 the SCEA les Planes Famille Rieder was created and the son Stéphane, a graduate in oenology, started at the Domaine and in 2007 his brother Oliver, graduated from a higher business school and a BTS in Viticulture and Oenology, joins their mother.
  
 In 2016 it was David, the youngest of the brothers, a BTS graduate in viticulture and oenology, who completed the family team whose tasks were well defined.
  
 Vinification: 100% destemming, maceration for 2 to 3 weeks.
  
 Aging : in barrel for 8 months.
  
 The wine is still relatively young, but we already feel a good opening in terms of aromas (wild red fruits).
  
 The tannins begin to melt and give a nice complexity on the palate."
