The wines have come from Certified Organic Agriculture since 2009 on gneiss and micaschist soils.

The Domaine des Planes was purchased in 1980 by Ilse Rieder-Eberbach and Christophe Rieder, graduates of the Geisenheim School of Viticulture and Oenology in Germany.
  
The former owner, Mr. Paul A Müller, had already cultivated the Estate ecologically and had given himself to continue in this spirit.
  
Since 2005 the SCEA les Planes Famille Rieder was created and the son Stéphane, graduated in oenology, started at the Domaine and in 2007 his brother Oliver, graduated from a business school and a BTS in Viticulture and Oenology joined their mother.
  
In 2016 it was David, the youngest of the brothers, graduated with a BTS in viticulture and oenology, who completed the family team whose tasks are well defined.
  
Vinifications: 100% destemming, Cold maceration.. Thermo-regulated fermentation at low temperature.
  
Good floral and fruity intensity.
