  • "Domaine Bodin Cassis is one of those emblematic estates that make the prestige of Cassis wines. Domaine Bodin is located between the Calanques of Cassis and Cap Naïo, the 30 hectares placed in the hollow of a natural cirque are thus preserved from humidity thanks to the mistral. It was in 1899, at the age of 18, that Emile Bodin began as an autodidact the renovation of the vineyard devastated by phylloxera. He was one of the first in 1901 to use Texan rootstocks and participated in obtaining the Cassis appellation in 1936, one of the first in France. In 1918, he acquired Domaine de Fontblanche in Cassis in order to complete the Domaine Bodin wine estate. Today Nicolas Bontoux, great-grandson, adds a touch of modernity to this beautiful Bodin Cassis family fresco by maturing new vintages in oak barrels for reds and acacia for whites.
  • Sustainable cultivation. Vines trained in Royat cordon.
  • Green harvests, in order to remove excess grapes and manual harvests at the end of August/beginning of September, depending on maturity. Selective sorting at the time of picking and transport of intact grapes in crates.
  • The finesse of its tannins gives way to a gourmet wine, with aromas of raspberries and redcurrants, with a spicy finish.
