"La Suffrène is above all a family estate combining tradition and modernity. The vines have been in the family for more than a century. It was after the war that Mr Piche, a young farmer, embarked on the development of the vineyard. He is the one of the pioneers of the Bandol appellation. His grandson, Cédric Gravier, then took over the operation in 1996, and built the cellar as it exists today. He therefore managed, from that date, the production and the marketing of its wines.
  
Manual harvest.
  
Aging for 12 months with 2 or 3 rackings and pre-blending, malolactic fermentation on fine lees in recent round barrels, end of aging for 6 months in older round barrels (over 30 years old).
  
Nose : Fresh and open, aromas of ripe red fruits and spicy notes
  
Mouth : Powerful, typical of Bandol in this sunny vintage, robust structure, persistent and spicy finish, very beautiful vintage."
