- "Located within the grounds of the Bastide de Cadillac, the Clos du Château de Cadillac is a vineyard enclosure surrounded by ramparts dating from the 13th century, near the Château du Duc D'Epernon. Rare due to its location in the center city, this vineyard has a unique terroir and an exceptional geographical location which allows it to produce wines of character which will give you the emotions linked to its history and its distinct terroirs.
- La Renomée, emblem of the Clos du Château de Cadillac, is the work of the sculptor Pierre BIARD. It was commissioned by the Duke of Epernon in 1597. Its elegance, charm and voluptuousness perfectly characterize the wine. This 2.5 hectare Clos Devignes is located 40 km south of Bordeaux, in the heart of the village of Cadillac. The walls surrounding the vines date from the 13th century and the vines were planted on the site of the former orangery of the Château des Ducs D'Epernon.
- Alcoholic fermentation for 10 days including vatting for 4 weeks in total. Malolactic fermentation in tanks.
- Aging in vats for 18 months before bottling under strict regulations.
- Fruity and musky nose with fresh red fruits (cherry, raspberry, redcurrant).
- Good attack, round and fruity with delicious tannins which mingle with notes of jammy red fruits.
- Beautiful roundness in the finish."
