- "Clos Canereccia is located in the village of Rotani. It is not far from Aléria, on the road to Corte that Christian and Pierre, his father-in-law, settled in 1970. The pair cultivated a few hectares and gradually expanded the estate. A few plots of Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and other traditional grape varieties were added and made up the current 21-hectare estate.
- Today and since 2010, it is Christian, nicknamed Titi, grandson of Pierre and son of Christian (yes I know, it seems like they only have 2 first names in the family ;-)), who takes over the reins and runs the estate. His passion drives him to action, he imagines, cultivates and produces his own wine, and replaces the Merlot with Niellucciu, Sciaccarellu or Carcajolu Neru. Vermentinu is reclaiming its rights in the Clos Canereccia vineyard, symbolizing the return to endemic grape varieties of the island.
- Of the 21 hectares of vines owned, the estate cultivates and vinifies only 9 hectares. In line with its vision, these 9 hectares have started the organic conversion. The Organic Agriculture (AB) label, soon to be stamped on the estate's bottles, represents a production method that respects the environment and animal welfare and confirms the desire to express the character of the endemic grape varieties and the quality of the estate's terroirs."
