  • "In 1970, Jacques Demonchaux acquired this beautiful estate, focusing on restoring its brilliance and economic balance. He was later joined by his wife Alice Demonchaux, in charge of marketing, and their son Aurélien, responsible for production. Alice expanded the commercial activity across France and key export markets, while Aurélien manages the vineyard and winemaking, ensuring the qualitative development of the wines.
  • To secure continuity, the family company EARL CHÂTEAU PIERRAIL was established in 1996. The estate covers 250 hectares, with 90 hectares of vines planted on the finest slopes.
  • Harvests are hand-picked, yielding low but concentrated and richly flavoured grapes. Careful, parcel-specific vinification follows, with 12 months ageing in oak barrels, producing a dry and fruity Bordeaux, round and fresh on the palate, with great expressiveness.
  • Nose : intense, with citrus, exotic fruits, and white flowers.
  • Palate : the aromas continue with excellent volume and a balanced interplay of acidity, roundness, and minerality.
  • Finish : long, fresh, and aromatic."
