  • "Rich with four centuries of history populated by light and shadow, the Château La Martinette estate has experienced a spectacular revival since 2012, supporting colossal investments. All the credit goes to three friends of Russian origin who , fell under the spell of an extraordinary site bathed by the Argens river, decided to buy it. And not to do things by halves they also acquired the domain of the Prieuré Sainte-Marie Vieille, located on the on the other side of the watercourse. The result is a property of 400 hectares in one piece, including 45 hectares of vines. It is located straddling the communes of Lorgues and Thoronet.
  • Founded originally in 1620 by the Chieusse de Combaud family, Château La Martinette is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence.
  • The 40 ha that make up the vineyard have been certified organic since 2020.
  • For this red wine, all the grapes are picked manually and sorted twice before vatting to ensure a harvest of impeccable quality.
  • The wines are then aged in French oak barrels for 12 months before being blended. An additional aging of 4 months is carried out in truncated conical concrete vats before bottling.
  •  An expressive nose of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry).
  •  Beautiful concentration and excellent balance on the palate marked by spicy notes such as tonka bean. A lovely mineral tension with a fine and elegant tannic structure.
  •  The long and refreshing finish is enhanced by minty flavors. This wine stands out for its aging capacity."
