- "Around 1889, Emile Bodin decided to become a winemaker in Cassis and created the Clos Val Bruyère vineyard. Nearly a hundred years later, Sophie Cerciello and her parents inherited it and made the big decision to change their lives to exploit these few hectares of vines and thus revive their ancestor's estate. The same year, they acquired Château Barbanau, located in the far west of the Côtes-de-Provence appellation, with its abandoned cellar and its production. , then sold to the cooperative Since 1998, Sophie has managed this estate between sky and sea, between Côtes-de-Provence and Cassis with her husband Didier Simonini. Driven by their shared passion for nature and living things, they have made their mark. 30 ha of the domain of their personality and support them towards organic and biodynamic viticulture.
