"The Moët & Chandon Champagne House was founded in 1743 in Epernay by Claude Moët, a visionary wine merchant, who quickly made it a reference at European courts. A few years later his grandson, Jean-Rémy Moët , develops the aura of the house internationally.
  
 Jean-Rémy Moët notably created an emblematic cuvée of the house, the Moët Imperial, in honor of the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, who visited the estate several times and is said to have invented with his troops the gesture of slashing bottles of Moët & Chandon champagne to celebrate a victory.
  
 Owned by the LVMH group since 1987, the house produces, from a rigorous selection of Champagne terroirs, unique vintages recognized across borders for their quality and seductive personality.
  
The Ice Imperial cuvée from Moët & Chandon was specially created to be served with ice cubes.
  
 On the nose, this champagne immediately surprises with the intensity of its aromas. A remarkably rich bouquet reveals scents of stone and tropical fruits, highlighted by notes of riper fruits and light spices. Then come surprising and delicate fragrances of red fruits as well as vegetal notes.
  
 Round and full, the palate lets the richness of surprisingly fruity and sweet flavors express themselves intensely.
  
 The finish is marked by great freshness, enhanced by a tasty acidity and delicious notes of grapefruit, quinine and ginger."
