- "The Robert Groffier et Fils estate was created in the 19th century by Frédéric Groffier. The vineyard is located in the communes of Chambolle-Musigny and Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits. Each generation is invested in the desire to exploit the terroir with the greatest respect for the soil and the surrounding nature.
- Since 2005, Nicolas Groffier and his sister Julie have been running the family estate. They are committed to respecting the land and the vines and practice meticulous viticulture where the work of the vines is carried out vine by vine. On the winemaking side, Nicolas Groffier produces great wines for laying down that require around ten years in the cellar to reveal their potential.
- Les Haut-Doix” is a little-known but always very distinguished premier cru. Its exceptional location nestled between the “Amoureuses” and the “Charmes” offers distinguished and deep Chambolle.
- Manual harvests and partially destemmed, cold maceration for about 7 days.
- Aged on lees in new barrels.
- 50% whole harvest and 25% new barrels.
- Chambolle-Musigny Les Hauts Doix Groffier has a fresh, subtle and expressive nose with aromas of flowers and fruits (cherry), with spicy notes.
- Palate of great aromatic precision, with a beautiful tannic structure.
- A lively and distinguished wine, but always in the elegant style of the estate's wines."
