"Château La Voulte-Gasparets is located in the heart of the Corbières appellation, in Languedoc. Château La Voulte-Gasparets is now in the hands of the Reverdy family and run by Patrick and his son Laurent, who proudly showcase the Carignan grape variety (whose vineyard boasts some of the oldest vines). The estate benefits from expertise and cultivation methods that elevate the wines to the pinnacle of the appellation.
  
Vinification: a long 16-day whole-bunch maceration in concrete and stainless steel vats.
  
Aging for 12 months in oak barrels, 20% new barrels, 80% barrels from one, two, and three wines.
  
The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, chocolate, and fig.
  
The palate is round and smooth, with a structured and elegant texture. The tannins are fine."
