- "Château d’Esclans is located in the heart of Provence, northeast of Saint-Tropez, with the Mediterranean Sea as a backdrop. The estate’s origins date back to the Roman Empire, when it served as a lookout over the Gulf of Fréjus to guard against maritime invasions. The château is renowned for its old Grenache vines, producing grapes that are more concentrated in flavor than younger vines.
- Built in the 19th century, the current château has passed through many owners. Since 2006, under Sacha Lichine, Château d’Esclans has played a key role in elevating Côtes de Provence wines and is now a global benchmark for Provençal rosé, especially with its flagship Whispering Angel.
- Crafted from the eponymous vineyard plot, composed of nearly century-old Grenache and Rolle vines, Garrus is a flagship wine of Côtes de Provence, representing excellence and luxury far beyond France.
- Harvested at night, the grapes are hand-sorted and optically sorted. Fermentation takes place exclusively in French oak barrels (first and second use), with regular bâtonnage, followed by 11 months of aging on fine lees.
- Nose : Intense aromas of peach, passion fruit, and candied citrus.
- Palate : Lively, revealing rich fruit flavors (pear, pineapple) that lead to a precise, elegant, and creamy finish."
