- "Roger Zannier, owner of Quinta do Pessegueiro in the Douro for over 25 years, acquired Château Saint-Maur in 2011 with the ambition of making it a benchmark for Côtes de Provence wines.
- Saint-Maur is a noble château steeped in history... it was built at the end of the 19th century, and inherited its appellation from a former monastery established on the estate. There is still a chapel erected on the estate's land.
- Located a few kilometres from Saint-Tropez, Château Saint-Maur has been a Cru Classé since 1955.
- Operational since the 2013 vintage, the Château Saint-Maur winery is now among the most efficient in the Côtes de Provence appellation. In addition to its beauty, which blends into the gentle landscape, it is a small marvel of technology with a winemaking capacity of 5,000 hectolitres. It is governed by the principles of gravity to preserve the integrity of the precious grapes as much as possible.
- The Saint-M Cru Classé range is made up of wines for pleasure, for sharing, to be drunk as an aperitif or with shared cuisine.
- Harvested at night, vinification in truncated cone-shaped vats with pumping over and punching down.
- A delicious, crisp nose, evoking notes of scrubland and red fruits. Slightly spicy and peppery.
- A tender and fruity palate, offering notes of blackcurrant, violet and supple tannins.
- A lovely, persistent finish."
