- "Out of their love for the land, Gérard and Monique Biancone decided in 1983 to acquire the Rasque estate, a Provençal countryside overlooking Taradeau in the Var region.
- Gérard, originally a mason, and Monique, from a family of Bordeaux winemakers, were determined to create a traditional vineyard in the heart of Provence.
- In 1992, a reception and tasting area, along with a foudre aging cellar, were built to ensure optimal conditions for aging red wines. The 150 m² underground cellar was constructed by the Compagnons du Devoir to maintain ideal temperatures for reds, which are aged in large oak foudres.
- One of their daughters, Sophie Courtois-Biancone, took over the estate in 2006, managing 100 hectares, including 30 planted with vines. She was later joined by her brother Enzo in 2018 to assist with communication and family estate management.
- The estate is currently in the process of converting to organic agriculture.
- After hand-harvesting the grapes, they are gently pressed in a pneumatic press. Following a short maceration to extract the aromas, the gentle pressing extracts the must, which then ferments in temperature-controlled tanks.
- Aroma : intense, elegant, and fresh at first, revealing floral and fruity notes (lemon, pink grapefruit) as well as dried fruits (almond and hazelnut).
- Palate : direct, supple, and lively, with citrus flavors clearly present."
