- "It was out of love for the land that Gérard and Monique Biancone decided in 1983 to acquire the Rasque woods, a Provençal countryside overlooking Taradeau in the Var.
- Gérard, a mason by origin, and his wife Monique, who comes from a family of Bordeaux winegrowers, were keen to create a traditional vineyard in the heart of Provence.
- In 1992, a reception room, tasting room and a Foudres room were built to accommodate and age the red wines in good conditions. The 150m2 underground ageing cellar was built by the Compagnons du Devoir in order to maintain an optimal temperature for the reds which were aged in oak casks.
- One of their daughters, Sophie Courtois-Biancone, took over the management of the estate in 2006, covering 100 ha, 30 of which were planted with vines. She was accompanied by her brother Enzo in 2018, in order to be helped in the communication and management of the family estate.
- The conversion to organic farming is underway.
- After having harvested all the grapes by hand, the harvest is taken to the pneumatic press ensuring a light crushing. After 4 to 6 hours of maceration to obtain the desired color and before pressing, the first juice called "juice of saignée" will be isolated to ensure the production of the Cuvée Alexandra.
- Its complex nose combines all the finesse and elegance of aromas of red fruits dominated by wild strawberries.
- Its mouth is smooth, nervous, especially gourmet. The palate flattered by this gourmet wine.
- We find the potpourri of silky berries, not at all alcoholic."
