  • "Rich in four centuries of history, marked by light and shadow, the Château La Martinette estate has experienced a spectacular revival since 2012, supported by significant investments. This transformation is thanks to three Russian friends who, captivated by the exceptional site along the Argens River, decided to acquire it. To complement their purchase, they also acquired the nearby Prieuré Sainte-Marie Vieille estate, resulting in a contiguous property of 400 hectares, including 45 hectares of vineyards, spanning the communes of Lorgues and Le Thoronet.
  • Originally founded in 1620 by the Chieusse de Combaud family, Château La Martinette is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence.
  • The 40-hectare vineyard has been certified organic since 2020.
  • For this red wine, all grapes are hand-harvested and double-sorted before vinification to ensure impeccable quality.
  • The wines are then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels before blending, followed by an additional 4 months in concrete tanks prior to bottling.
  • Nose : Expressive aromas of black fruits, including blackberry, blackcurrant, and cherry.
  • Palate : Rich and well-balanced, with hints of spice such as tonka bean. A subtle mineral tension is complemented by fine, elegant tannins.
  • Finish : Long and refreshing, with minty notes. This wine stands out for its excellent aging potential."
