"Château des Jacques, probably one of the most beautiful properties in Beaujolais, was purchased by Maison Jadot in 1996. Since then, this estate has experienced steady growth and produced wines unanimously acclaimed by the press. Based on the principle that a great wine is a living wine that draws its essence from the energy of the soil, the plant cycle, and the work and love of man, Château des Jacques produces some of the greatest Beaujolais wines there are.
  
Vinification: Hand-picked in crates, sorted and often destemmed, the grapes macerate slowly for three to four weeks.
  
The wines are aged for 10 months, in concrete vats and barrels, in the 17th century cellars. The wood comes from the forests of Nivernais, Limousin and Allier.
  
Intense floral and red fruit aromas combined with precise acidity give these wines a very gourmet character."
