- "Château Clinet is one of the jewels of Pomerol, located on the central plateau of the appellation and owned by the Laborde family since 1998. The vineyard covers approximately 11 hectares on clay-gravel soils, locally enriched with iron pan, a characteristic of the Pomerol terroir, which gives the wines depth, power, and finesse.
- The 2017 vintage was outstanding for Pomerol: the climate provided excellent grape ripening, with warm days and cool nights that helped preserve acidity. The result is a wine that is rich, well-structured, yet balanced.
- Winemaking is meticulous: controlled extraction, with a significant portion aged in new oak barrels, adding aromatic complexity, tannic structure, and an elegant, well-integrated oak touch.
- Nose: Aromas of black fruits (blackberry, blackcurrant, plum), hints of morello cherry, floral notes (violet), with subtle touches of smoke, wood, and crushed stone.
- Palate: Full-bodied with rich texture; velvety mouthfeel, firm yet refined tannins, balanced fruit and oak, with mineral accents. Long and persistent finish."
