"Founded in 1859 by Mr. Louis Jadot, Maison Louis Jadot has always been located in the heart of Beaune, in the heart of the vineyards. Housed in a 19th-century mansion, it boasts superb cellars connected to the nearby Couvent des Jacobins.
  
Run by three generations of Jadots, then for 30 years by Mr. André Gagey, the Maison is now in the hands of his son Pierre-Henry, assisted by Mr. Jacques Lardière, the Maison's oenologist for over 40 years, before passing the torch to Mr. Frédéric Barnier.
  
The various wines in this blend are produced using traditional vinification methods and aged for 8 to 10 months in barrels and stainless steel vats before being combined for bottling.
  
On the palate, this Burgundy wine from Domaine Louis Jadot is woody and fruity, with notes of cherry and ripe fruit.
