"This creation comes from Louis Napoléon Mattei, founder of the distillery in 1872 in Bastia. Today, the distillery is located in the eastern plain (Aléria) and continues to uphold the family know-how.
 
 
Cap Corse Blanc is a flavored wine, a white quinquina, staying true to its historic recipe.
 
 
Base : Mistelle (unfermented grape must fortified with alcohol) made from Corsican grape varieties Muscat à Petits Grains and Vermentinu. It is then aromatized with quinine bark, Corsican citron, and a secret blend of exotic herbs and spices.
 
 
Nose : Muscat notes, fresh citrus, and citrus zest (citron).
 
 
Palate : Floral, with orange blossom and citrus flavors, balanced by a gentle bitterness that harmonizes sweetness and acidity.
 
 
Finish : Lightly spiced, with an elegant bitterness from the quinine."
