  • "With more than 70 appellations of Burgundy wines, Domaine Vincent Girardin has built a reputation for excellence. Created in 1980 in Santenay, the estate has gradually expanded across the most beautiful appellations of the Côte de Beaune. Now based in Meursault, it has developed a significant activity as a wine merchant and grower. This allows it to offer no fewer than seven Grands Crus and around thirty Premiers Crus of Burgundy.
  • Domaine Vincent Girardin has 30 hectares of vines in the Côte de Beaune. These Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines are spread across nine villages. The historic heart of the estate is located in Santenay and Meursault. Its vineyard also extends to Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Volnay and Pommard. In the north of the Côte de Beaune, the estate has vines in Savigny-Lès-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton.
  • For this Pouilly-Fuissé "Vieilles Vignes", the harvest is manual, with sorting on the vines then in the vat room and finally pressing (pneumatic press) to obtain a slow extraction.
  • The grape must is put into 500-liter French oak barrels (10% new barrels) in which the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations will take place in yeasts and indigenous bacteria. The aging will be long on fine lees for 10 months. Without batonage. One month before bottling, the wine from the different barrels is placed in a stainless steel tank for blending. Racking before fining and light filtration before bottling. Bottling is done according to the lunar calendar.
  • Aromatic wine with fruity, floral notes and lots of delicacies on the palate. Lots of freshness and minerality."
