"Daughter of one of Burgundy's greatest winemaking families, Francine Picard took over the estate historically run by her father in the late 1990s. Domaine Au Pied du Mont Chauve spans the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, and Saint-Aubin, in the heart of the most beautiful climates and terroirs of Burgundy winemaking.
  
With a desire for synergy between the land and the wines, Francine Picard cultivates her plots according to the principles of biodynamics and devotes herself with passion and extreme care to producing wines that reflect the identity of their terroir.
  
Coming from a 110-hectare vineyard cultivated using agroecology, the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir of Domaine Au Pied du Mont Chauve are renowned for their quality, precision, and elegance.
  
Since May 2019, Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne, a viticulture specialist, has been biodynamic, has joined the Domaine team as Technical Director.
  

  
Grapes are hand-harvested in crates, sorted on a sorting table, and 100% destemmed. The whole berries are transferred directly to the vats to avoid crushing the raw material.
