  • "Château du Rouët was once a Templar farm and later a stagecoach relay. A few years before the Revolution, the Marquis de V fell in love with the château, frequently hunted there, and decided to plant vines and olive trees on the estate.
  • In 1840, Château du Rouët was purchased by the family that still owns it today. The property spans over 1,000 hectares of forest, generating income through the sale of maritime pine wood and cork harvests.
  • In 1927, following a major fire that devastated the Estérel from Mandelieu to La Motte, Lucas Savatier protected the forest by clearing firebreak trenches and planting vines and peach trees.
  • After 1945, the estate began selling wine and significantly expanded production in the 1960s.
  • In 1990, Martin Savatier modernized the vineyard and contributed to the creation of the Fréjus appellation, helping Château du Rouët gain recognition both in France and abroad.
  • Alongside its winemaking and vineyard activities, Château du Rouët developed a trading business under the brands “Le Rouët,” “Coeur du Rouët,” and “Teres.” These premium wines are closely linked to the château’s image, produced by partner winemakers who respect their vines and terroirs. Bottling in the château’s cellars ensures quality, terroir expression, and the continuation of a family tradition.
  • Born from the volcanoes of the Estérel and elevated by the vineyard, this Estérel beer is an artisanal brew made with pure spring water and enhanced with a touch of white wine.
  • A beer of exceptional freshness and finesse, the result of a natural alliance and an experience that is both elegant and bold."
