"Bau ! Provençal tradition attributes the introduction of muscat into the vineyards to "King René" (which is why his statue stands on the Cours Mirabeau in Aix en Provence, a bunch of grapes in his hand). While it is undeniable that he appreciated it, in reality this grape variety was already present at least a century before. In Forcalquier, it was cultivated at the beginning of the 17th century.
  
Bau means "rocky escarpment" in Occitan/Provençal. The word Bau is therefore here to recall the type of relief on which these precious muscat grape varieties grow, which are used in the production of this sparkling wine.
  
Bau Rosé is a sparkling wine made exclusively from the Muscat de Hambourg grape variety.
  
Bouquet: The nose is fresh with notes of red fruits characteristic of Muscat de Hambourg which become more complex with more floral notes.
  
Palate: The palate is lively with fruity muscat aromas and a sweet flavor."
