- "Bau ! Provençal tradition attributes the introduction of muscat into the vineyards to "King René" (which is why his statue stands on the Cours Mirabeau in Aix en Provence, a bunch of grapes in his hand). While it is undeniable that he appreciated it, in reality this grape variety was already present at least a century before. In Forcalquier, it was cultivated at the beginning of the 17th century.
- Bau means "rocky escarpment" in Occitan/Provençal. The word Bau is therefore here to recall the type of relief on which these precious muscat grape varieties grow, which are used in the production of this sparkling wine.
- Bau Rosé is a sparkling wine made exclusively from the Muscat de Hambourg grape variety.
- Bouquet: The nose is fresh with notes of red fruits characteristic of Muscat de Hambourg which become more complex with more floral notes.
- Palate: The palate is lively with fruity muscat aromas and a sweet flavor."
