- "The Vintage corresponds to the year of the harvest. The youngest Vintages marketed by Maison DARTIGALONGUE have been aged for a minimum of 15 years in 400-litre oak barrels. After 40 to 50 years of ageing in wood, they are then placed under glass, in demijohns, in order to preserve their taste qualities and stop the decrease in alcohol content.
- Each Vintage is unique and has its own personality. Its characteristics evolve from year to year under the effect of ageing and the "angels' share" (3 to 4% loss through evaporation each year in wood).
- Nose: delicate notes of sweet almond, cooked apple, elderflower.
- Palate: A fairly light vintage on the fruit, the tannins are expressed in the finish after a few minutes of aeration to give it length in the mouth."
