- "The Vintage corresponds to the year of the harvest. The youngest Vintages marketed by Maison DARTIGALONGUE have been aged for a minimum of 15 years in 400-litre oak barrels. After 40 to 50 years of ageing in wood, they are then placed under glass, in demijohns, in order to preserve their taste qualities and stop the decrease in alcohol content. Its characteristics evolve from year to year under the effect of ageing and the "angels' share" (3 to 4% loss through evaporation each year in wood).
- Nose: sandalwood, blond tobacco.
- Palate: powerful attack, the tannins are generously deployed to finish with aromas of caramel and tarte tatin."
