"Maison Louis Latour, a white and red wine merchant and producer in Burgundy, France, was founded in 1797. It prides itself on remaining independent and family-owned. Each generation has worked to preserve this heritage with a visionary and ambitious spirit. Maison Louis Latour represents the largest Grands Crus estate in the Côte-d'Or.
  
Viognier was originally cultivated in the northern Côtes-du-Rhône. After nearly disappearing, it has become one of the most popular varieties worldwide since the last quarter of the 20th century.
  
In 2007, Maison Latour decided to produce a 100% Viognier wine. Their Viognier is planted on steeper slopes than the Chardonnay.
  
It is harvested entirely by hand and then carefully vinified in the Maison Louis Latour winery in Alba-la-Romaine, Ardèche.
  
Traditional fermentation in stainless steel vats, temperature-controlled, malolactic fermentation at 100%.
  
Aged for 12 months in 100% stainless steel vats.
  
Its intense nose reveals notes of apricot jam and almond kernel.
