- "Absinthe, nicknamed “green fairy” and banned in 1915, was authorized again in 1988. It was only in 2011 that its level of thyuone (a molecule present in the plant which, in high doses, was supposed to make you crazy ) is set at a maximum of 35 mg/kg. Highly appreciated for its absinthe taste and its green reflections, this alcohol has attracted many artists including Van Gogh, Baudelaire, Toulouse-Lautrec, Picasso, Oscar Wilde... The famous tasting ritual is still practiced according to tradition, by pouring water over the absinthe, through a perforated spoon holding a piece of sugar.
- Grande Absente is a very aromatic, intense and complex absinthe, with dominant plants, spices and bitterness on the finish. Its difference from Absente: very little sweet, more concentrated in absinthe, it is intended for connoisseurs of original absinthe.
- Grande Absente contains thujone up to 35 mg/kg."
