- "The 55 hectares of vineyards of Château Vignelaure are located in Rians, near Aix-en-Provence.
- The estate, classified as AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, owes its fame to Georges Brunet, its former owner, who purchased Château Vignelaure in 1960. Previously the owner of Domaine de la Lagune in the Haut-Médoc, Georges Brunet was one of the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in Provence.
- The Château was originally called Saint Estève, but Mr. Brunet, not wanting any confusion with the famous Médoc appellation of Saint Estèphe, renamed the Château Vignelaure: "The Vineyard of Laura, muse of the poet Petrarch."
- A great art lover, Georges Brunet created a magnificent cellar containing barrels from renowned coopers as well as works of art and photographs by César, Miro, and Cartier-Bresson, to name a few. than them.
- After being vinified by the man who would become the owner of Trévallon, the estate has seen a number of owners come and go. Since 2007, Mette and Bengt Sundstrom have taken over the estate. Thanks to the renovations they undertook and the estate team, the quality of the vintages has continued to improve.
- For this Vignelaure rosé, the harvest is manual and sorted.
- The juice is extracted by direct pressing.
- Aged on lees for 3 months with stirring.
- Intense nose of wild berries, vine peaches, and ripe pink grapefruit.
- A fine and balanced palate.
- Long finish with notes of ripe white fruits and spices."
