"The Château de Lancyre is located in the heart of the eponymous hamlet. It is a traditional hamlet built on a limestone hill made of old houses made of local stone. The Château de Lancyre Vineyard in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup appellation.
  
The building of the Château de Lancyre dates from the 16th century and is located on a Puech overlooking the hillsides and plains. It houses modern cellars where each vintage is aged.
  
The Château is constantly evolving in order to obtain the highest quality vintages.
  
Since the 1970s, the 78-hectare Estate has practiced more sustainable cultivation of the vines, using Royat cordon pruning and the trellising system.
  
Traditional vinification. Total ageing, 21-day vatting at a controlled temperature (28°C to 30°C). Punching down, pumping over and racking according to tasting. Aging in vats in the air-conditioned cellar.
  
The first nose is marked by notes of black fruits mixed with sweet spices. After stirring, notes of cherry, black olive and liquorice are released.
  
The palate is round, velvety, fruity, the finish liquorice.
  
Very nice length with very melted tannins and a very pleasant sensation of freshness."
